Alexandra’s career in medicine began with the Good Samaritan Hospital Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program in West Islip, New York, in 2010, where she graduated as the valedictorian of her class. She went on to finish her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York, where she graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Nursing Society. She then completed a master’s degree in adult/geriatric nursing at Stony Brook University.
In between her educational training, Alexandra worked at Good Samaritan Hospital and South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, New York, where she gained experience caring for adult patients and families and providing thorough patient education on topics ranging from diagnosis and disease information, medication administration, and health promotion.
